Accounts Payable Administrator, Hybrid — Lehi, Utah
Manage invoice coding, reconciliations, payment runs, and vendor accounts for Purple. The role also includes coaching accounts payable clerks and supporting monthly close and financial controls.
Description
- Process bills in Stampli, checking G/L coding, approval routing, and required details for accuracy.
- Follow up with managers to secure bill coding and approvals.
- Match purchase-order bills against purchase orders and product receipts.
- Prepare weekly payment runs for management approval and create bank-upload files.
- Resolve vendor questions and payment issues.
- Keep vendor records accurate and up to date.
- Calculate and apply credits and discounts.
- Maintain the authorized approver list by department and bill type.
- Reconcile accounts payable aging with the G/L trial balance during monthly close.
- Review and reconcile the Goods Received Not Yet Billed report.
- Coordinate, train, coach, and oversee the work of other accounts payable clerks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
- Two to three years of accounts payable experience.
- Knowledge of accounts payable processes and software.
- A degree focused on accounting and/or business management.
- Experience with Stampli or comparable accounts payable automation software.
- Experience training or coaching colleagues.
- Ability to move objects weighing up to 15 pounds in any direction.
- Ability to communicate and exchange information with others.
- Ability to perform repetitive wrist, hand, and finger movements.
- Ability to evaluate the accuracy, neatness, and completeness of assigned work.
