Accounting Intern – Santa Clara, Onsite
Support SEC reporting, journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger close activities while building corporate accounting experience at Marvell Technology.
Description
- Prepare global journal entries, account reconciliations, financial analyses, SEC filing schedules, 10-Q and earnings release tie-outs, and SOX control documentation
- Assist with monthly general ledger close and consolidation activities in Oracle ERP
- Contribute to ad hoc accounting assignments, including process improvement and automation initiatives
- Collaborate with SEC Financial Reporting, Technical Accounting, Global GL Consolidations, and Global Accounting Policy teams
- Build practical knowledge of GAAP, SEC reporting, and corporate accounting practices
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and expecting to graduate in Winter 2027 or later
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Well organized, detail oriented, accurate, and accountable for assigned work
- Proactive and collaborative problem solver with a customer service mindset
- Must be authorized under applicable U.S. law to access export-controlled information or complete an export license review before employment
