Technical Sales Representative – Ireland (Onsite)
Manage merchant and contractor relationships across Ireland for Polypipe, supporting regional growth through solution-led selling, project pipeline development and new business generation.

- Expand Polypipe’s presence across regions of the Republic of Ireland
- Manage a portfolio of merchant partners and contractors
- Develop customer relationships, uncover opportunities and recommend appropriate Genuit Group product solutions
- Progress sales opportunities and maintain a strong project pipeline
- Deliver sustainable sales growth across the region
- Maintain productive relationships with existing customers
- Develop customer solutions that improve sales and profitability
- Track regional activity, emerging opportunities and commercial challenges
- Increase Genuit Group product adoption among merchant partners and contractors
- Identify and develop prospective customers to expand market share
- Carry out branch reviews with key merchant partners
- Engage contractors, specifiers and M&E consultants on project opportunities
- Evaluate customer and sales data using Excel, QlikView and other databases
- Work with marketing colleagues on promotions, trade events and sales materials
- Represent Genuit Group at sales meetings, training sessions, trade shows and industry events
आवश्यकताएँ
- Proven experience in solution-based selling within the construction industry
- Solid understanding of the construction market and its customer base
- Ability to communicate product features, solutions, promotions and services confidently across multiple channels
- Strong relationship-building abilities and confidence working with customers and stakeholders at all levels
- Customer-focused approach with the ability to listen, assess needs and resolve concerns professionally
- Commercially aware, well organised and able to manage a varied workload independently
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Eligibility to work in the Republic of Ireland
- Full clean driving licence
- Experience in plumbing, drainage or related construction products, or in internal sales for builders’ merchants, is preferred
