Senior Technical Product Manager, Alternative Credit – TransUnion, Chennai Hybrid
Lead cross-functional delivery for TransUnion’s online credit risk products, shaping roadmaps, compliance, modernization, launches, and ongoing improvement.

- Turn product strategy into a practical, KPI-driven 2–3 PI roadmap spanning multiple teams
- Set priorities, sequencing, capacity assumptions, delivery milestones, dependencies, risks, and readiness criteria
- Direct Alternative Credit programs involving alternative data, blended scores, integrations, compliance, modernization, and customer onboarding
- Coordinate complex delivery across Solutions, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, Compliance, Operations, Architecture, Customer Success, and support teams
- Translate roadmap commitments into outcome-focused plans with milestones, owners, forecasts, dependencies, and success measures
- Track cross-team risks, impediments, decisions, and escalations through resolution
- Own initiatives from discovery and commitment through launch, adoption, iteration, and continuous improvement
- Lead requirements definition and solution trade-offs for complex, high-visibility programs
- Verify that regulatory, model-governance, audit, data-quality, operational, and customer needs are satisfied
- Oversee technical, operational, security, compliance, regulatory, and customer risks
- Work with engineering and architecture on application design, implementation, testing, documentation, and operational readiness
- Guide data-processing and integration decisions covering data movement, performance, resilience, debugging, and environment readiness
- Collaborate with Data Science and Analytics to move models, features, score workflows, monitoring, and performance measures into production
- Influence stakeholders without direct authority while coaching junior TPMs and partner teams
- Lead discovery, solution design, delivery, testing, release, and adoption for complex initiatives
- Take FactorTrust and Alternative Credit programs from initial concept through production
आवश्यकताएँ
- Typically bring 8+ years of experience in technical product management, application development, engineering, systems analysis, or data-processing delivery
- Have owned a major workstream spanning multiple teams
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Demonstrated experience delivering through Agile/Scrum or SAFe, from requirements through post-launch adoption
- Ability to turn strategy into a KPI-aligned 2–3 PI roadmap
- Experience coordinating multi-team execution, forecasting, cross-functional decisions, and corrective action
- Background leading risk management, quality, release, and operational-readiness activities
- Technical collaboration experience across application design, data processing, integrations, cloud platforms, performance, resiliency, and operational readiness
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for business, technical, and senior leadership audiences
- Ability to influence without formal authority and improve practices among junior TPMs and partner teams
- Preferred background in credit risk, consumer reporting, FCRA, model governance, alternative data, scores or predictive models, cloud modernization, and GCP or AWS
- SAFe PO/PM or a related certification is preferred
