Senior System Administrator and Oracle DBA - Brazil Remote
Senior infrastructure specialist responsible for Linux servers, Oracle databases, virtualization, storage, and critical remote operations in Brazil. The role focuses on availability, security, automation, observability, and performance.

- Manage and maintain Linux servers supporting critical, highly available environments
- Operate virtualized infrastructure using KVM, Proxmox, and VMware
- Diagnose infrastructure issues and tune server, virtualization, storage, and system performance
- Install, configure, and administer Oracle databases
- Apply security, backup, recovery, and business continuity practices across the environments
- Review logs, perform upgrades, apply patches, and address vulnerabilities
- Configure and administer storage platforms, including EMC VNX and HP 3PAR
- Contribute to benchmarking, performance testing, capacity planning, and infrastructure blueprint initiatives
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure problems through a structured diagnostic process
- Create and maintain automation routines with scripts and operational management tools
- Deliver remote support while working with development, database, network, and infrastructure teams
- Assess and apply AI tools and agents to operational automation, diagnostics, observability, and optimization
आवश्यकताएँ
- At least five years of experience administering Linux servers
- Experience managing virtualized environments, preferably with KVM, Proxmox, or VMware
- At least five years of experience installing, configuring, and maintaining Oracle databases
- Background in troubleshooting, log analysis, and server or infrastructure monitoring
- Knowledge of backup, restoration, security, and environment recovery procedures
- Experience with storage and SAN concepts, including volumes, LUNs, and multipathing
- Experience or interest in generative AI and AI agents for infrastructure administration and automation
- Ability to collaborate effectively and explain technical issues clearly and objectively
- Experience supporting highly available and clustered environments
- Intermediate English skills for reading, writing, and conversation
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline
- Professional experience spanning system administration and database administration
- Knowledge of automation scripting with Bash, Python, Ansible, or similar tools
- Experience with monitoring platforms such as Zabbix, Nagios, or Prometheus
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, including Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or OCI
