Senior Project Designer and Technology Lead at MiTek — Chesterfield, Missouri (Hybrid)
Lead 3D modeling, design planning, and project execution for MiTek’s offsite construction and structural framing solutions. Partner with stakeholders to deliver technology-enabled wood-frame construction projects.

- Lead 3D modeling, digital asset development, and manufacturing and assembly plan setup for project delivery.
- Develop design solutions and project plans that reflect customer requirements, construction practices, and MiTek capabilities.
- Work directly with Micro-Market stakeholders from project planning through execution.
- Complete project modeling, detailing, and planning activities with technology solutions that support deadlines.
- Implement and optimize technology solutions to meet project and partner needs.
- Act as the main liaison between Micro-Markets and MiTek Services Support on project execution.
- Coordinate internal and external resources to complete modeling and planning work on schedule.
- Assess project risks, design issues, and implementation constraints, then develop workable responses.
- Keep stakeholders and project teams informed about requirements, priorities, and progress.
- Advance best practices, standardization, and ongoing improvement across modeling and planning processes.
- Provide technical direction on MiTek Structure and related design and planning technologies.
आवश्यकताएँ
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, building science, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least five years of experience in structural framing detailing, project planning, construction technology, or a related technical field.
- At least five years of experience with wood-frame construction, building systems, or technology-enabled design solutions.
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Advanced knowledge of MiTek Structure or comparable 3D modeling software, plus technologies used to design and manufacture offsite components and plan general material requirements.
- Strong understanding of wood-frame construction methods, including onsite installation sequencing.
- Advanced knowledge of framing and foundation systems, along with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing integration.
- Ability to convert project requirements into practical, buildable design solutions.
- Strong project planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities at once.
- Clear communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively across functions and teams.
- Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
- Willingness to travel 10% for customer and site visits as needed.
