Senior Database Report Writer Analyst - South Carolina Remote
Work remotely from South Carolina as a senior database report writer and analyst for BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina. Develop and maintain SQL and DB2 reporting logic, data-retrieval systems, and recurring internal and external reports.

- Develop reports from user-provided information and specifications
- Maintain and update programming logic for established routine reports to support timely, accurate results
- Evaluate existing reporting methods and practices
- Build and maintain computer- and web-based data-retrieval systems
- Produce recurring internal and external reports on daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual schedules
- Interview customers to define the criteria for requested data
- Update programming logic to reflect customer specifications and requirements
- Support system testing and provide technical assistance
- Help address departmental training needs
- Contribute to project teams developing, maintaining, and implementing new processes, applications, policies, and forms
आवश्यकताएँ
- Associate degree or two years of related professional experience accepted in lieu of the degree
- Three years of experience working with database, mainframe, or spreadsheet applications
- Three years of experience using Easytrieve, DB2, SQL, or comparable programs; experience may be concurrent
- Strong computer skills with substantial experience using spreadsheet and database applications
- High level of attention to detail
- Effective organizational, analytical, customer service, and communication skills
- Understanding of mathematical or statistical concepts
- Ability to distinguish among different dataset types
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
