Senior Billing Specialist
Handle failed bills, claims, rebilling, and payer issues for Ensemble Health Partners’ healthcare revenue cycle services. Develop training materials and teach billing staff.
विवरण
- Review and correct failed bills and claims in the host system and billing vendor platform
- Process daily electronic submissions (277s) and resolve claim issues
- Track daily claim errors and resolutions, and recommend system improvements
- Process late charges and rebills each day
- Submit paper claims with the documentation required for payment
- Retrieve EOBs and medical records as needed, attach them to claims, and mail them
- Contact patients, insurers, and third parties to obtain insurance details or other billing information
- Develop training materials and assessments
- Train and assess staff
- Cover the absentee staffing desk
आवश्यकताएँ
- 1 to 3 years of work experience
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Earn the Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) credential within 9 months of hire
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) certification
- Two years of accredited college study or equivalent experience
- Experience billing multiple payers or subject matter expertise with one payer
- Basic computer skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Pass a typing test at 35 words per minute, adjusted for errors
- Deliver a mock training session to interviewers
- Be willing and able to travel to and work onsite at client, temporary, or corporate offices as business needs require
- Reside in and be authorized to work in the United States
