- Oversee financial reporting activities.
- Establish and maintain accounting policies, practices, and procedures.
- Deliver accurate, timely financial statements and maintain effective internal controls.
- Lead, coach, and develop the general ledger accounting team.
- Run the monthly close and join management reviews of financial results.
- Prepare, review, and approve general ledger entries and month-end reconciliations.
- Review balance sheet and income statement accounts and investigate variances.
- Research accounting matters and recommend appropriate GAAP treatments.
- Manage consolidation work and coordinate quarterly reviews and year-end audits.
- Act as the main contact for external auditors.
- Oversee fixed asset accounting processes and procedures.
- Find and implement opportunities for ongoing process improvement.
- Work across teams on projects, initiatives, and issue resolution.
- Conduct performance reviews, assess staffing needs, interview candidates, and recommend hires.
- Report to the Director of Accounting and Shared Services.

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
- At least five years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls required.
- Thorough understanding of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements.
- Experience with a major ERP system such as Oracle, JDE, or SAP required; NetSuite experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to work with people at all organizational levels.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Service industry experience strongly preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills.
- Travel required: less than 10%.
- Must be able to continuously view and enter data on a computer screen.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods.
