Hybrid Home Energy Sales Representative
Conduct Mass Save home energy assessments for HomeWorks Energy, recommend efficiency improvements, and help homeowners arrange services. Assess energy use, prepare savings reports, and guide customers through product installations and required paperwork.

- Conduct Mass Save home energy assessments
- Use energy efficiency software to model homes and prepare savings reports
- Identify household energy use issues
- Recommend efficiency improvements, including insulation, LED lighting, and high-efficiency HVAC systems
- Generate sales and secure service contracts
- Support customers and explain the benefits of energy efficiency
- Apply sales techniques to promote satisfaction and referrals
- Help customers complete required paperwork
- Install energy-saving products during assessments, such as thermostats, water-saving devices, and power strips
- Submit paperwork accurately and promptly
- Build product knowledge and sales skills through ongoing learning
- Keep current with energy-saving products and technologies
- Coordinate with internal teams to cross-sell products and services
- Complete other duties as assigned
आवश्यकताएँ
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
- Valid Massachusetts driver’s license and reliable transportation for work travel
- BPI certification is a plus
- Previous customer service and sales experience preferred
- Knowledge of the Mass Save program is a plus
- Basic computer skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently, primarily in the field
- Strong verbal, written, and listening skills
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Ability to work in customer environments, including attics, basements, confined spaces, rooftops, and outdoors
- Ability to stand, bend, crawl, and kneel in confined spaces
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders, enter crawl spaces, work on roofs, and safely use stairs
- Ability to travel in a personal vehicle
