Data Analyst – Banking Systems (Hybrid, Latvia)
Translate banking needs into functional, non-functional, and data requirements for Luminor’s Baltic systems. Support data quality, analysis, and stakeholder alignment across Business, Data, and Technology teams.

- Translate business needs into clear IT and data requirements
- Lead workshops and meetings with Business, Data, and Technology stakeholders
- Investigate operational processes and analyze data
- Define transformation rules, mappings, and business logic
- Document requirements for system implementation, including functional, non-functional, and data specifications
- Monitor and maintain data quality
- Support metadata and requirements management activities
- Partner with system analysts and data engineers on end-to-end solutions
- Identify process improvements and recommend practical optimizations
- Resolve requirement questions with business stakeholders and partner teams
- Engage functional or technical leads when specialist input is required
- Structure requirements discussions and maintain clear documentation
- Coordinate impact assessments across related areas
- Create and maintain requirement templates and delivery artefacts
आवश्यकताएँ
- At least 2–3 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or a related role spanning the software development lifecycle
- Strong knowledge of financial products, processes, and IT systems in banking or finance
- Proven ability to elicit, analyze, document, and manage functional and non-functional requirements
- Experience modeling business processes and logical data flows
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with varied stakeholders and converting business needs into technical specifications
- Ability to query and interpret data
- Understanding of data structures, storage, reporting, and analytics
- Knowledge of Data Mesh architecture and Data Product concepts is advantageous
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and formulas
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or comparable tools
- Ability to assess dependencies across interconnected systems and support transitions
- Proactive approach to identifying improvements and taking ownership
- Fluent spoken and written English
