  • Approve credit decisions within delegated authority limits
  • Develop thorough credit assessments and recommendations for transactions above the Analyst’s approval limit
  • Support loan origination by evaluating borrowers’ character, credit profile, and financial condition
  • Guide origination and sales support teams on recommended structures, terms, conditions, security, and covenants
  • Use research, financial modeling, and statistical analysis to evaluate creditworthiness and control risk exposure
  • Spread and review business financial statements and tax returns
  • Apply corporate credit policies and procedures consistently
  • Engage with the senior leadership team
  • Find opportunities to improve processes and develop practical solutions
  • Assess delinquency drivers and recommend appropriate remedial actions
  • Track market developments and industry concerns
  • Handle additional analysis and requests as required

आवश्यकताएँ

  • At least three years of business credit underwriting and risk management experience in financial services
  • Post-secondary education related to business or finance
  • Strong understanding of commercial business structures
  • Familiarity with suitable financing options and techniques
  • Working knowledge of business financial statements, business cases, bank statements, and cash flow analysis
  • Knowledge of commercial lending security documents, collection and workout techniques, and available remedies
  • Working knowledge of commercial and consumer credit bureau scoring
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet applications
  • Strong credit writing skills
  • Ability to recognize and quantify less obvious business risks and their primary drivers
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Sound professional judgment
