Associate Business Intelligence Analyst – Chattanooga

- Assess data sources through profiling and analysis to identify the best sources for business information.
- Transform data into practical dashboards, reports, algorithms, or datasets, seeking guidance from mentors and managers for complex analysis.
- Analyze statistics and present findings with manager support to inform and advise leadership.
- Work with data engineers to validate data and test solutions.
- Build familiarity with the insurance industry.
- Learn how data is stored in company databases.
- Work with internal customers to clarify requirements and confirm that deliverables meet expectations.
- Partner with business analysts, BI analysts, data scientists, data engineers, and business units to gather and validate requirements.

- A bachelor's degree is preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Basic familiarity with analytics programming languages such as SQL, R, or Python.
- Some experience with modern business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI, or similar.
- Conceptual understanding of data profiling, statistical analysis, and data modeling.
- Some experience extracting and using data from data warehouses, transactional databases, object stores, and API-based environments.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability.
- Strong communication skills.
- Willingness and drive to learn new technologies and analytical techniques.
- Collaborative team player who works effectively with people from varied backgrounds and across the organization.
