Trading Operations Analyst - Singapore (Hybrid)

Flowdesk is hiring a Trading Operations Analyst to oversee APAC digital-asset trading routes, automation, risk, and compliance from Singapore. The role coordinates with trading, engineering, risk, and compliance teams.

Tavsif

  • Optimize trading routes for efficiency and profitability
  • Build and maintain automation frameworks and routing processes
  • Apply transaction-authorization policies and document improved trading procedures
  • Manage operational tools and relationships with external service providers
  • Deliver automation, system integrations, and advanced monitoring for market-making and OTC derivatives activities
  • Coordinate communication and workflows across the APAC trading desk, global engineering, risk, and compliance teams
  • Develop operational tools that improve efficiency
  • Oversee key trading-operations activities across the APAC region
  • Help shape trading strategies, uphold governance and compliance, and manage the trading team’s daily operations
  • Manage risk, coordinate cross-functional work, and maintain strong client relationships

Talablar

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related discipline; an MBA or relevant certification is advantageous
  • Strong knowledge of cryptocurrency exchanges and liquidity venues for spot and derivatives trading, OMS/EMS platforms, FIX/REST/WebSocket APIs, and blockchain fundamentals including wallets, custody, fees, and confirmations
  • Deep understanding of risk management and security controls within the cryptocurrency industry
  • Experience creating operational dashboards, alerts, and workflow systems
  • Familiarity with Git and version-control practices
  • Professional fluency in English
  • Exposure to regulatory and compliance areas such as KYC/AML, the Travel Rule, market-abuse surveillance, and licensing frameworks
  • Availability for rotating shifts or on-call coverage during market hours and incident response
  • Strong Python skills for data processing, automation, monitoring, and reconciliation tools
  • Proficiency in SQL plus at least one additional programming language, such as TypeScript or Java
  • Self-directed, detail-oriented, and process-focused, with the ability to improve and document controls and procedures
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving 24/7 market environment, exercising sound judgment under pressure and taking ownership
