Tavsif

  • Set technical direction for Android experiences used by retailers and shoppers across the full order-picking workflow
  • Build, test, and maintain Android applications with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, and RxJava
  • Work with Product, Design, Backend Engineering, iOS Engineering, retailers, and external vendors to shape solutions
  • Guide projects from technical discovery through launch while balancing retailer needs with platform health, scalability, and maintainability
  • Advance performance, reliability, observability, and developer experience through profiling, instrumentation, architectural improvements, and technical debt reduction
  • Lead design discussions, mentor engineers, promote engineering standards, and help establish lasting technical decisions
  • Help define roadmaps for new picking models, retailer and market expansion, Android platform investment, and operational growth

Talablar

  • At least seven years of professional software engineering experience, including significant experience building and shipping Android applications
  • Advanced Kotlin proficiency
  • Experience with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, and reactive programming using RxJava or an equivalent framework
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional software initiatives from design through production release
  • Experience designing maintainable Android architectures
  • Experience improving application performance, reliability, testing, monitoring, or observability
  • Ability to collaborate with Product, Design, Backend Engineering, iOS Engineering, and external stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Preferred: background in retail, logistics, fulfillment, delivery, workforce, or other operational settings
  • Preferred: experience supporting multiple product teams, retailers, markets, or high-priority initiatives concurrently
  • Preferred: experience with Android performance profiling, startup optimization, crash reduction, instrumentation, or large-scale observability
  • Preferred: experience with mobile platform strategy, shared components, developer tooling, or migration to modern Android technologies
  • Preferred: experience mentoring engineers and shaping technical direction across teams
  • Preferred: experience working with external partners, vendors, or enterprise customers
