Senior Transmission Line Structural Engineer – Auckland Hybrid at Aurecon
Aurecon is seeking a senior structural engineer to design transmission towers, poles, and overhead line infrastructure in a hybrid Auckland role. The position uses PLS-TOWER and PLS-POLE on multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.

- Design and assess transmission towers, poles, and related overhead line structures
- Use PLS-TOWER and PLS-POLE to develop practical structural solutions
- Prepare structural calculations, drawings, and technical reports
- Support technical reviews and deliver accurate design documentation
- Improve structural design standards and establish repeatable work practices
- Work with electrical, civil, and multidisciplinary engineering teams across locations
Talablar
- A relevant qualification in structural engineering
- Proven experience designing transmission structures
- Professional, hands-on experience with PLS-TOWER and PLS-POLE
- Experience designing transmission towers, poles, or related overhead line structures
- A track record of completing structural designs, calculations, drawings, and technical reports
- Strong technical capability supported by relevant industry experience and ongoing design work
- Ability to contribute directly as a practising designer, beyond management or coordination duties
- Effective communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills
