  • Secure licensing and regulatory approvals across multiple jurisdictions
  • Align Web3 innovation with international compliance standards
  • Safeguard the company’s legal position while supporting faster market entry
  • Research and interpret evolving fintech and Web3 regulations in Ghana, Kenya, Cameroon, Poland, and the Americas
  • Lead applications for financial licenses, including IMTO, PSP, VASP, and EMI
  • Develop and manage AML, KYC, and CFT policies and internal audit procedures
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, partnership contracts, and vendor terms
  • Coordinate with regulators, financial intelligence units, and external legal counsel
  • Identify legal risks in product plans and recommend practical solutions to the executive team

Talablar

  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree
  • Relevant professional certification; CAMS or equivalent is preferred
  • 10 years of legal or compliance experience
  • At least 3–5 years of experience specifically in fintech, crypto, or Web3
  • In-depth knowledge of blockchain technology, smart contracts, and decentralized finance (DeFi)
  • Experience managing compliance in at least two core regions: Africa, the EU, or the Americas
  • Ability to take full ownership of outcomes
  • Ability to perform in high-performance environments with demanding standards and rapid iteration
  • Strategic thinking and ability to recommend solutions that reduce risk
  • Ability to explain complex legal matters clearly to non-legal stakeholders
