Senior Government Contracts Counsel at Infleqtion
Lead federal contracting, data rights, and compliance work at Infleqtion, a quantum technology company. Advise on corporate, commercial, and public-company legal matters as part of the broader legal team.
Tavsif
- Oversee negotiations, interpretation, and administration of government agreements, from OTAs and research contracts to grants, subcontracts, proposals, disputes, and compliance communications.
- Guide business and program teams on FAR, DFARS, agency rules, and federal contracting obligations across the full contract lifecycle.
- Assess and address risks related to intellectual property and data rights, pricing, audits, cybersecurity, export controls, domestic sourcing, labor, payments, and contract flow-downs.
- Coordinate internal responses to major contracting matters, including bid strategy, approvals, contract interpretation, delivery risks, and customer communications.
- Work with Export Control and technical teams on ITAR and EAR obligations for government programs.
- Create practical templates, playbooks, and learning materials for business and program teams.
- Collaborate with business development, program management, engineering, and finance on bids, risk allocation, and program delivery.
- Help maintain government contracting oversight through approval rules, records, and escalation procedures.
- Train teams on contracting obligations, risk awareness, and compliance basics.
- Assist the wider legal team with strategic and commercial transactions, corporate and public-company work, and regulatory and operational matters.
- Report to the Chief Legal Officer and work closely with the Government Contracts team.
Talablar
- Hold a J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Maintain active, good-standing membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
- Have at least eight years of legal experience, including substantial responsibility for federal government contracting.
- Bring significant experience negotiating and advising on complex federal contracts and related subcontracts, subawards, and teaming arrangements.
- Understand intellectual property and data rights in government contracts, including technical data, computer software, flow-downs, and compliance obligations.
- Communicate effectively with executives and turn complex contracting risks into practical business guidance.
- Familiarity with ITAR, EAR, and related export controls is preferred.
- Experience advising technology, defense, aerospace, or research organizations, either in-house or at a law firm, is preferred.
