Senior Full-Stack Java Engineer in Ireland (Remote)
Build full-stack applications for Miratech’s global IT services clients using Java, Spring Boot, React, and cloud technologies. The role covers APIs, microservices, enterprise integrations, and deployment automation.
Tavsif
- Create, test, and support scalable backend services with Java, Spring Boot, and sound engineering practices
- Develop responsive, accessible web interfaces with React, TypeScript, reusable components, and modern frontend patterns
- Design and integrate REST APIs using API-first methods, well-defined OpenAPI or Swagger contracts, and robust error handling
- Create modular, maintainable systems with microservices and suitable object-oriented and domain-driven design approaches
- Apply Node.js to lightweight services, backend-for-frontend layers, integrations, and developer tooling when suitable
- Model and optimize PostgreSQL schemas and queries with focus on data integrity, performance, and auditability
- Connect internal and external platforms through REST APIs, webhooks, messaging, and other suitable integration methods
- Containerize services and support cloud deployment practices, configuration management, and consistent environments
- Develop and operate Jenkins CI/CD pipelines incorporating automated tests, quality checks, and repeatable releases
- Add structured logs, metrics, distributed tracing, and useful error reporting to application services
- Investigate production and functional problems while improving performance, resilience, scalability, and maintainability
- Work with Product, UX, QA, DevOps, Architecture, and engineering teams in design reviews, planning, code reviews, and improvement initiatives
Talablar
- At least six years of full-stack software development experience, including responsibility for production applications
- Advanced practical experience with Java and Spring, especially Spring Boot, REST services, persistence, security, and automated testing
- Strong frontend expertise with Angular or React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, component-based architecture, state management, and current testing practices
- Working knowledge of Node.js for lightweight services, integrations, build tools, or supporting components
- Demonstrated ability to design REST APIs and microservices and maintain applications in distributed environments
- Strong SQL capability and experience creating efficient data models with PostgreSQL or a comparable relational database
- Experience building, deploying, or supporting applications that run in cloud and containerized environments
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to write clear technical documentation and facilitate client workshops
- Experience creating Workforce Management applications or integrating with WFM platforms is desirable
- Experience with AWS services and Amazon Connect is desirable
- Background developing CX, contact-center, or customer-service applications, including voice infrastructure or integrations using FreeSWITCH, Kamailio, Twilio, or similar communications platforms, is desirable
- Knowledge of forecasting, scheduling, adherence, routing, agent desktops, digital channels, or related operations is desirable
- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging and event-streaming platforms is desirable
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, cloud services, observability tools, and secure software delivery methods is desirable
- Experience connecting applications to CRM, identity, HR, payroll, analytics, or other enterprise platforms is desirable
- Hands-on use of AI-assisted development tools or AI-enabled solutions, including Claude or GitHub Copilot, is a plus
