Senior Finance Director - SBM, Sacramento or St. Louis Onsite
Lead portfolio finance, budgeting, reporting, pricing, and risk management for SBM Management Services. This full-time role is fully onsite in Sacramento or St. Louis and includes up to 30% travel.
Tavsif
- Oversee finance activities across assigned portfolios and territories
- Manage budgets, performance tracking, and strategic initiatives tailored to clients
- Join client meetings and develop solutions for SBM and its customers
- Maintain cost models that satisfy operating-unit, client, and GAAP reporting standards
- Recommend spending and revenue plans consistent with corporate economic strategies
- Assist Operations with budgets, proposal reviews, supporting documentation, and justifications
- Deliver weekly financial performance updates and reports
- Evaluate divisional financial health and program progress against operational goals
- Escalate significant financial concerns and monitor plans to resolve budget variances
- Evaluate risks involving labor agreements, payroll taxes, compensation structures, service contracts, workers’ compensation, and liability claims
- Contribute to pricing efforts for new and existing customers through Business Development
- Identify cost drivers that strengthen pricing models and competitive positioning
- Use internal and external market data to lower total cost of ownership
- Apply market intelligence to measure emerging segments and strengthen customer value propositions
- Lead employee supervision, including hiring, work allocation, evaluations, training, and issue resolution
Talablar
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related discipline plus at least eight years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- An MBA is strongly preferred
- A valid driver’s license may be required depending on business needs
- Employees who drive must maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record and satisfy company driving eligibility standards
- Ability to perform the essential responsibilities successfully
- Ability to travel by car to work locations, customer sites, or company facilities when needed
