Tavsif

  • Build and operate AWS cloud infrastructure across identity, compute, Kubernetes, networking, databases, serverless, and analytics.
  • Manage Terraform infrastructure as code and delivery pipelines across environments.
  • Design platforms for resilience, availability, security, observability, capacity, and ease of operation.
  • Configure third-party services to integrate securely and reliably.
  • Automate DevOps work and production capabilities with Python and other languages.
  • Identify, document, and resolve infrastructure and platform risks.
  • Build and maintain secure, reliable CI/CD pipelines.
  • Develop infrastructure security controls and guardrails using Helm, OPA policies, and EKS admission controllers.
  • Work with Engineering to improve build, test, release, and deployment processes.
  • Contribute to environment and release management approaches.
  • Help engineers with rollouts and deployments.
  • Partner with Engineering on application constraints and platform choices.
  • Inspect and debug application code to support root-cause analysis and infrastructure decisions.
  • Represent DevOps in architecture, design, and planning discussions.
  • Take infrastructure and delivery initiatives from proposal through operation.
  • Assess emerging tools and practices, then recommend platform and operational improvements.
  • Help set technical direction and step in on senior technical decisions when needed.
  • Record technical decisions in ADRs and RFCs and contribute to team standards and architectures.
  • Design observability across metrics, logs, traces, and alerts.
  • Apply SRE methods, lead incident response and blameless reviews, and prevent recurring issues.
  • Improve monitoring signals, reduce alert noise, and address observability gaps.
  • Review and strengthen security resilience, IT and network controls, and audit evidence.
  • Support corporate IT systems, including Microsoft 365 and ZTNA.
  • Help maintain SOC 2 and Cyber Essentials Plus evidence and controls, and resolve compliance gaps.
  • Join the on-call rota and share responsibility for infrastructure and delivery platforms.

Talablar

  • Must be based in the United Kingdom.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available.
  • Extensive hands-on infrastructure experience, including network architecture design, troubleshooting, and technical analysis.
  • Experience building, deploying, and supporting complex infrastructure.
  • Production Infrastructure as Code experience, including design, state management, and workflows across multiple environments.
  • Scripting experience with languages such as Python.
  • Strong AWS expertise across compute, networking, storage, IAM, and managed services in a multi-account environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of access controls, encryption, networking concepts, and protocols.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and operating production CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience implementing security controls and guardrails in Infrastructure as Code and Kubernetes environments.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools for metrics, logs, traces, and alerts.
  • SRE or equivalent experience covering production reliability, incident response, and SLIs/SLOs.
  • Recent hands-on experience developing and supporting modern multi-tenant systems.
  • Experience using AI-assisted tools and workflows in day-to-day engineering.
  • Up-to-date DevOps practices and experience collaborating closely with developers and engineers.
  • History of independently owning technical initiatives from design through delivery.
  • Able to contribute credibly as a technical peer in senior- or lead-level design and architecture discussions.
  • Software development knowledge sufficient to read and reason about backend and/or frontend code.
  • Understanding of resilience, security, and operability, including failover, backup and recovery, least-privilege access, secrets management, and observability.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Desirable: experience in a small or medium-sized organization where DevOps and Engineering are separate but closely connected teams.
  • Desirable: familiarity with ADR and RFC practices.
  • Desirable: hands-on Kotlin, Java, and/or React development experience.
  • Desirable: Microsoft 365 administration and/or ZTNA network solutions experience.
  • Desirable: experience supporting SOC 2 and/or Cyber Essentials Plus certification or renewal.
