Tavsif

  • Contribute to the design and delivery of new or updated applications with the Technology team.
  • Assess feasibility, estimate time and costs, plan IT work, and support risk technology, application and model development, and implementation.
  • Oversee development from analysis and design through construction, testing, and implementation.
  • Support business users with application and operational issues.
  • Investigate complex application development challenges and assess business, system, and industry processes and standards.
  • Recommend and implement security improvements based on post-implementation reviews.
  • Work with users, clients, and technology teams to resolve issues and propose advanced programming solutions.
  • Install and support customer exposure systems.
  • Follow required procedures and contribute to operating standards and processes.
  • Coach and advise new or junior analysts.
  • Work with limited supervision, using independent judgment and autonomy.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to senior stakeholders and team members.
  • Manage risk and maintain compliance with applicable laws, regulations, rules, and policies.
  • Escalate, manage, and report control issues openly.

Talablar

  • At least 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in systems analysis and software application programming.
  • Experience managing and delivering successful projects.
  • Working knowledge of consulting and project management methods and techniques.
  • Able to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.
  • At least 8 years of development experience with the Hadoop ecosystem, including HDFS, Impala, Hive, or HBase.
  • Experience developing Java server-side software for low-latency applications.
  • Scala programming skills.
  • Expertise with Spark, including micro-batching and end-of-day or real-time processing.
  • Data analysis skills, preferably using SQL.
  • A financial services background is preferred.
  • Python skills.
  • Linux skills.
  • Experience with Databricks or AWS.
  • Track record of meeting agreed objectives.
  • Able to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Able to learn and apply new concepts.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability.
  • Proactive and enthusiastic, with a willingness to learn.
  • Strong analytical and process skills, including process flow diagrams, business modeling, and functional design.
  • Bachelor’s degree, university degree, or equivalent experience.
