Tavsif

  • Build, operate, and continuously improve backend systems supporting multiple mobile products
  • Lead ambiguous technical problems from architecture through implementation, deployment, and iteration
  • Analyze and take ownership of systems you did not originally build
  • Partner closely with product, frontend, data, and engineering teams
  • Strengthen existing systems while assessing when a rewrite is unnecessary
  • Respond to production incidents and contribute to their resolution
  • Evaluate system context, dependencies, scaling risks, and engineering trade-offs
  • Document technical decisions, communicate clearly, and stay focused on measurable outcomes
  • Work across products, codebases, and technical environments as priorities evolve

Talablar

  • Typically bring at least five years of backend engineering experience
  • Have designed or substantially evolved backend systems
  • Can make architectural decisions and clearly explain the trade-offs
  • Have worked with databases beyond ORM-based access
  • Can operate and troubleshoot services in production
  • Understand infrastructure and how it supports application systems
  • Can turn an unclear problem into a delivered, working result
  • Adapt quickly to unfamiliar technologies when project needs require it
  • Can become effective in Go; production experience with Go is advantageous
  • Strong backend experience in another language may be considered with evidence of rapidly learning new stacks
  • Understand relational databases, schema design, migrations, indexing, and query behavior
  • Understand distributed systems, message queues, and brokers such as Kafka
  • Understand Docker and Kubernetes
  • Understand cloud infrastructure and APIs
  • Understand observability, performance, reliability, and system failure modes
