Higher Education Architecture Design Coordinator
Coordinate design documentation, construction administration, and multidisciplinary collaboration for sustainable higher education projects at LPA, an integrated design firm.
Tavsif
- Support project architects, designers, and managers with assigned work.
- Prepare and manage materials for schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
- Develop and implement design and detailing solutions.
- Help project leaders coordinate with clients and across project teams.
- Review submittals and respond to RFIs as part of contract administration.
- Research materials, systems, and construction methods to uphold design intent.
- Mentor junior designers while learning from firm leaders.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams across studios in California and Texas.
- Contribute to high-performance, community-focused higher education projects.
Talablar
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture.
- At least five years of experience spanning design and documentation phases.
- Proficiency with Revit.
- Knowledge of building codes, materials, and construction methods.
- Creativity, initiative, and problem-solving skills in design and execution.
- Architecture licensure or active pursuit of licensure preferred.
- LEED accreditation preferred.
- Familiarity with Rhino and Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
- Experience with California’s DSA process for education projects preferred.
- Ability to work in a local studio three days per week.
