Graduate Design Technician
Support Network Plus utility infrastructure projects with site surveys, AutoCAD drawings and design coordination. This full-time hybrid role is based in the United Kingdom.
Tavsif
- Visit sites and collect survey data for detailed designs and as-laid drawings.
- Create accurate AutoCAD as-laid drawings that follow client asset standards and procedures.
- Coordinate with internal teams to deliver drawings within agreed KPIs.
- Represent Network Plus at client walk-off meetings.
- Develop technical drawings, plans and general arrangements for project delivery.
- Prepare private land notice plans to client specifications.
- Send weekly progress reports to the Design/Commercial Manager.
- Assist the design team with administrative and technical work as needed.
Talablar
- Degree, HNC or HND in engineering, design or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Understanding of basic engineering principles.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- IT skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Willingness to learn to use GNSS/GPS surveying equipment.
- Proactive approach and strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Organised approach and ability to manage tasks across multiple projects.
