Support Globalweb’s z/OS mainframe systems as a COBOL Developer Analyst, using CICS, DB2, JCL, and DevOps tools to help deliver scalable solutions.

Tavsif

  • Support development teams with z/OS operating system activities
  • Maintain and assist with z/OS utilities
  • Evaluate application performance within z/OS environments
  • Use DevOps technologies and tools in development work
  • Build new features that strengthen product robustness and scalability
  • Help improve solutions used daily by users at large companies

Talablar

  • High school diploma
  • Programming proficiency in Enterprise COBOL 4.0 or later
  • Familiarity with IBM platforms and tools, including z/OS, DB2, CICS, JCL, TSO, MainView, Strobe, Control-M, Xpediter, Abend-Aid, File-Aid, Endevor, SDF II, Eccox or comparable tools, IBM Sterling Connect:Direct for z/OS, Rational Developer for z Systems (RDz) or comparable tools, and MQ Series
  • Knowledge of online and batch applications, including balanced-line processing, CICS, TSO, JCL such as SORT and IDCAMS, DB2 and/or CA-IDMS relational databases, VSAM KSDS/ESDS files, dump analysis, and Endevor
  • Professional experience as an analyst working with mainframe platforms
  • Experience developing multithreaded CICS transactions
  • Understanding of relational database modeling and database performance analysis
  • Experience developing DB2 native stored procedures
  • Knowledge of service-oriented architecture (SOA)
  • Understanding of code quality practices and mainframe application performance analysis
  • Experience with CICS, CICS/WEB, Broker, and MQ Series access interfaces
  • Knowledge of CICS structures, including their definitions and configurations
  • Business modeling experience with CA Gen 8 or later
