Opis

  • Manage a high-volume docket of creditors’ rights and real estate litigation matters
  • Draft pleadings
  • Research legal issues
  • Oversee discovery
  • Assist with motion practice
  • Advance cases from initial filing through resolution
  • Manage assigned matters proactively with case management and reporting software
  • Appear in court and travel as needed
  • Work with attorneys, clients, and internal teams across multiple jurisdictions
  • Deliver attentive client service and communicate proactively
  • Mentor colleagues

Zahteve

  • Be an active member in good standing of the Virginia State Bar
  • Have at least five years of experience in real estate, civil litigation, and/or creditors’ rights
  • Be willing and able to use the firm’s case management and reporting software proactively
  • Have a strong grounding in civil procedure, motion practice, and loss mitigation
  • Know title and lien priority, title claims, foreclosure, eviction, TILA, RESPA, FDCPA, and creditors’ rights practice generally
  • Attend court appearances and undertake related travel
  • Demonstrate leadership, collaboration, and mentoring skills
  • Communicate effectively in writing and verbally
  • Show strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Provide excellent client support and exercise sound judgment
  • Additional bar admissions are a plus
