Join Williams Parker’s trusts and estates practice advising Florida families and fiduciaries on estate planning, probate, and trust administration. Work across legal practices to guide clients through planning and administration matters.

Opis

  • Advise individuals, couples, and families on estate plans aligned with their personal and financial goals
  • Guide clients on incapacity planning and orderly succession
  • Draft wills, revocable trusts, durable powers of attorney, and advance directives
  • Coordinate asset ownership and beneficiary designations
  • Represent personal representatives and trustees in probate and trust administration
  • Manage asset collection, valuation, and distribution, fiduciary tax compliance, and administrative questions or disputes
  • Work with colleagues in Tax, Business, Real Estate, and Litigation
  • Build enduring relationships with clients, their families, and professional advisors

Zahteve

  • At least five years of experience as a trusts and estates attorney focused on estate planning, probate, and trust administration
  • Experience drafting key estate planning documents and guiding administrations through completion
  • Working knowledge of fiduciary tax compliance, asset administration, beneficiary coordination, and Florida probate procedure
  • Ability to advise families with compassion and confidentiality
  • Ability to explain legal concepts clearly and reassuringly
  • Organizational skills and professional maturity to independently manage a substantial caseload
  • Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, clients, and external advisors
  • Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Good-standing membership in The Florida Bar, or eligibility and willingness to take the Florida Bar Examination in the near future
  • Florida Bar Board Certification in Wills, Trusts & Estates is welcomed
