Software Architect, Information Systems
Shape the information system and digital products of a real estate company, working with development, SRE, infrastructure, and security teams. The role spans cloud platforms, APIs, and software architecture.
Opis
- Set the direction for the information system and its digital products.
- Design and evolve applications, services, and digital products to meet business needs and the information systems roadmap.
- Guide development teams on design decisions and maintain consistency across system components.
- Find ways to simplify, modernize, and restructure existing systems.
- Build performance, availability, resilience, scalability, maintainability, and security into designs from the start.
- Help select technologies, frameworks, architectural patterns, and technical solutions.
- Establish shared principles and methods for documenting architecture.
- Work with developers, Product Owners, SRE, QA, infrastructure, and security teams.
- Address technology changes involving cloud, infrastructure, observability, security, containers, and AI.
Zahteve
- Substantial experience in software development.
- Increasing responsibility in software design and architecture.
- Ability to design and evolve web applications, distributed systems, and APIs.
- Experience working with cloud platforms and containerized environments.
- Ability to choose suitable application communication and integration approaches.
- Ability to account for application security, performance, availability, and scalability during design.
- Ability to assess an existing system and recommend a practical evolution roadmap.
- Ability to balance architecture quality and complexity with technical debt, cost, and operational constraints.
- Ability to document and explain decisions to stakeholders with different levels of technical knowledge.
- Ability to guide teams while respecting their practical constraints.
- Experience with Kubernetes and AWS is an advantage.
- Experience with event-driven architecture and asynchronous systems is an advantage.
- Knowledge of observability, system reliability, and SRE is an advantage.
- Experience recording architecture decisions, such as ADRs, and applying modeling methods such as C4 is an advantage.
- Experience modernizing existing applications or information systems is an advantage.
- Experience applying AI to development, documentation, or architecture design is an advantage.
