  • Design software around customer and user experience.
  • Help advance the architecture, design, and engineering centre of excellence.
  • Build productive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Deliver customer outcomes through engineering and innovative solutions.
  • Create technology designs that are customer-focused, high-performing, secure, and resilient.
  • Partner with software engineers to develop and prototype new ideas.
  • Work with domain and enterprise architects to validate solutions for broader use.
  • Develop software that automates build, testing, and deployment.
  • Strengthen software engineering practices across the business.
  • Define engineering and design solutions, and oversee their governance.
  • Create complex software, scripts, and tools for bank platforms, applications, and services.

Zahteve

  • Substantial experience in software engineering, software or database design, and architecture.
  • Experience building software in Agile and DevOps environments.
  • Expert knowledge of current market trends, technologies, and tools.
  • Proven experience applying programming best practices, particularly for scalability, automation, virtualisation, optimisation, availability, and performance.
  • Strong Python skills or experience in Java back-end engineering.
  • Experience with generative and agentic AI using AWS services.
  • Experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and vector databases.
  • Experience configuring and tuning long-term and short-term agent memory.
  • Experience with context management and response-suppression techniques.
  • Experience implementing and enforcing AI guardrails.
  • Experience designing and implementing tool calling.
  • Experience with agent logging, monitoring, and auditability.
