Support accounting, consolidation, and financial reporting across Contour Software’s enterprise software portfolio. Analyze business performance and provide insights to help guide operating decisions across Vertus Group.
Opis
- Handle monthly accounting tasks, including journal entries and analysis, to support accurate, timely results reporting.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and reconcile intercompany accounts.
- Support consolidation across portfolio companies through monthly updates and quarterly revisions to annual financial statements.
- Check business unit reconciliations for accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor and report key performance indicators that leadership uses to manage the business.
- Work with finance leaders across the group to build relationships and learn how its software businesses operate.
- Prepare working papers for interim and year-end financial and tax audits.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis to inform management decisions.
Zahteve
- Degree in Business, Commerce, Accounting, or Finance, such as a BBA or BComm.
- CPA designation or progress toward earning one is an asset.
- One to two years of experience in finance or accounting.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong financial reporting experience.
- Strong organization and the ability to respond professionally to shifting priorities and ad hoc requests.
- Clear, confident communication and demonstrated ability to work with managers at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations is an asset.
