Opis

  • Advise Cboe’s U.S. securities businesses, especially Market Data and Access Services and Exchange Traded Product Listings, on legal and regulatory matters
  • Review and draft rules and regulatory filings
  • Explain the rationale for proposed rules and guide changes through internal review and regulatory approval
  • Work with U.S. securities businesses to support growth through legal advice and practical solutions
  • Track regulatory developments and business initiatives, and advise on their legal and regulatory implications
  • Support compliance with national securities exchange requirements, including membership and the products and services of Cboe’s U.S. equities exchanges
  • Advise on regulatory requests, examinations, inspections, and related matters involving Cboe’s U.S. securities exchanges
  • Provide legal support to Compliance, Regulatory, Technology, Operations, Risk, Market Policy & Government Affairs, Billing, and Finance teams
  • Promote regulatory compliance and a strong culture of compliance
  • Address general legal matters related to securities trading and corporate law
  • Review regulatory and informational publications
  • Provide legal support for other company activities
  • Advance the use of AI, automation, and more effective workflows across Legal
  • Work with teams to update core processes, strengthen controls, improve efficiency, and support scale
  • Develop team capabilities and encourage adoption of new tools and technology

Zahteve

  • Bring 8–10 years of relevant experience, preferably at a law firm, financial services firm, or financial market regulator
  • Demonstrate strong legal writing and analytical skills
  • Have experience preparing regulatory filings
  • Understand core equities market structure terms and on-exchange equities trading
  • Be willing to build deeper knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory frameworks
  • Have a basic understanding of market data and access solutions and the ETP regulatory framework, including SEC Rule 6c-11, or be willing to develop it
  • Work independently and collaboratively under the supervision of more senior attorneys
  • Show motivation, attention to detail, strong organization for a heavy workload, and excellent analytical ability
  • Collaborate across business, technology, operations, compliance, regulatory, and legal teams
  • Have experience working with regulators or a strong interest in developing that experience
  • Use AI to streamline legal work such as summarizing rule proposals, comment letters, rules, laws, and regulations
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctor degree
  • Be licensed to practice law
  • Be proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship; visa sponsorship is unavailable.
