Opis
- Manage daily accounting activities, maintain records, and process payments as needed.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with statutory obligations.
- Reconcile accounts and data to support accurate analysis and reporting.
- Prepare statutory reports for local and international authorities.
- Support senior colleagues and contribute to ad hoc finance projects.
- Monitor internal controls and help implement them.
- Help improve internal processes.
- Support auditors in carrying out their work.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Zahteve
- Hold ACCA and/or a B. Accty. (Hons) qualification, or be close to completing ACCA.
- Have 2–3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Bring strong analytical ability and confidence working with figures.
- Know accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
- Know Maltese tax and VAT legislation.
- Be familiar with standard software packages.
- Use Microsoft Excel proficiently.
- Be self-motivated and determined in your work.
- Communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
- Work well independently and with a team, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Work under pressure and meet company deadlines.
- Be comfortable in a fast-paced, international environment.
