- Communicate with customers, suppliers, associates, and other groups through verbal and written channels
- Execute the business plan for the assigned area
- Deliver facility production, quality, and safety objectives
- Project staffing needs, workload, and performance outcomes
- Review and analyze business reports to uncover operational improvements
- Ensure compliance with Logistics and company quality and safety standards, policies, procedures, and directives
- Create, distribute, and maintain procedures and related documentation
- Address concerns raised by associates, customers, and suppliers
- Supervise associates and leaders
- Assign work, track performance, provide feedback, and assess training and development needs
- Support the hiring, promotion, coaching, instruction, and evaluation of associates, leaders, and managers
- Cultivate high-performing, inclusive teams and promote a sense of belonging
- Develop employees’ capabilities and acknowledge their contributions

- Use operational data to make decisions and advance continuous improvement
Cerințe
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline
- Alternatively, one year of experience as a Walmart Logistics Area Manager
- Alternatively, three years of experience in operations, distribution, logistics, or retail
- Experience supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers, supervisors, or associates
- Experience managing operational workload
- Experience supporting employee or associate hiring and promotion decisions
- Completion of all required job training and assessments
- Compliance with the company’s drug-free workplace and alcohol policy
