  • Communicate with customers, suppliers, associates, and other groups through verbal and written channels
  • Execute the business plan for the assigned area
  • Deliver facility production, quality, and safety objectives
  • Project staffing needs, workload, and performance outcomes
  • Review and analyze business reports to uncover operational improvements
  • Ensure compliance with Logistics and company quality and safety standards, policies, procedures, and directives
  • Create, distribute, and maintain procedures and related documentation
  • Address concerns raised by associates, customers, and suppliers
  • Supervise associates and leaders
  • Assign work, track performance, provide feedback, and assess training and development needs
  • Support the hiring, promotion, coaching, instruction, and evaluation of associates, leaders, and managers
  • Cultivate high-performing, inclusive teams and promote a sense of belonging
  • Develop employees’ capabilities and acknowledge their contributions
  • Uphold integrity, ethical conduct, compliance, and Walmart values
  • Use operational data to make decisions and advance continuous improvement

Prasības

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline
  • Alternatively, one year of experience as a Walmart Logistics Area Manager
  • Alternatively, three years of experience in operations, distribution, logistics, or retail
  • Experience supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers, supervisors, or associates
  • Experience managing operational workload
  • Experience supporting employee or associate hiring and promotion decisions
  • Completion of all required job training and assessments
  • Compliance with the company’s drug-free workplace and alcohol policy
