Descriere

  • Value complex instruments and derivatives, including convertibles, embedded derivatives, earn-outs, interest rate derivatives, equity, private debt, options, and warrants.
  • Deliver valuation services for M&A, venture financing, IPOs, tax planning and compliance, financial reporting, and strategic planning.
  • Support assurance and tax clients with valuation work.
  • Build and maintain an effective sales and marketing process for the Valuation practice.
  • Sustain an established referral network.
  • Connect with colleagues across geographic markets and assurance, tax, and business consulting teams.
  • Contribute subject-matter thought leadership.
  • Act as clients’ primary advisor and manage complex financial instruments engagement teams.
  • Lead, oversee, train, and develop complex financial instruments valuation professionals.
  • Build and sustain relationships with influential business contacts and other professionals.
  • Manage client relationships and deliver high client satisfaction.
  • Oversee realization, utilization, leverage, receivables, and expenses.
  • Mentor, coach, and train staff.
  • Put the firm’s strategy into practice.
  • Advance the RSM brand, marketing campaigns, cross-selling, and integration across service lines.

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, financial mathematics, quantitative finance, or a related field.
  • An MBA or other master’s degree is a plus.
  • Professional certification such as ABV/CPA, ASA, or CFA.
  • Experience valuing complex financial instruments.
  • Experience with option pricing, Monte Carlo, and binomial models.
  • Experience with Monte Carlo software such as @RISK or Crystal Ball, lattice models, coding tools such as MATLAB or R, and Bloomberg.
  • Experience developing and managing a practice, marketing, and thought leadership in complex financial instruments.
  • Experience managing client relationships and using them to sell firm services.
  • Experience in a sophisticated large consulting or accounting firm; valuation work at a Big Four or national consulting firm, including financial and tax reporting valuations.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop business and build a productive referral network.
  • At least eight years of management, leadership, or supervisory experience.
  • Experience with Capital IQ.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to travel to clients and other RSM offices.
  • Ability to work independently, gather facts, organize data, analyze financial statements and other financial information, and identify relevant issues.
  • RSM does not plan to hire entry-level candidates who will need sponsorship now or in the future.
