UX Content Strategist - Insulet Corporation (San Diego Hybrid)
Shape user experiences for Insulet’s Omnipod diabetes-care platform across Android and iOS applications. Partner with product, clinical, human factors, and research teams to create safe, user-centered mobile and medical-device experiences.
Descriere
- Lead strategic and tactical UX initiatives across Android and iOS
- Support major design initiatives for Omnipod core product applications
- Partner with development teams to deliver UX for the Omnipod Mobile App Suite
- Help define product requirements with Marketing, Technical Product Marketing, and Systems teams
- Produce wireframes, visual assets, GUI specifications, and related UX materials
- Collaborate with agile teams in Boston, San Diego, and Tijuana using Webex, JIRA, Confluence, Aha!, and other tools
- Participate in UX planning with integration partners such as Glooko and Tidepool
- Work with User Research and Human Factors teams to evaluate concepts and apply user-centered methods
- Communicate UX direction through sketches, storyboards, prototypes, wireframes, and interactive presentations
- Partner with Clinical and Human Factors teams to support safe, effective designs aligned with FDA guidelines
- Advance UX processes, tools, design language, and experience innovation
- Help shape connected customer experiences across products, websites, mobile apps, integrations, wearables, and other touchpoints
- Support enterprise UX standards, frameworks, and design language
- Promote UX practices and design thinking throughout the organization
Cerințe
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Psychology, Computer Science, HCI, Industrial Engineering, Interaction Design, Design, Human Factors, or an equivalent field
- At least one year of relevant UX or product design experience
- Advanced proficiency with UX and development tools including InVision, Balsamiq, Azure, Zeplin, Creative Cloud, Framer, Sketch, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Strong command of usability standards, design heuristics, and responsive design methods
- Advanced understanding of Android and iOS platforms and interface guidelines
- A strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling and presentation ability
- At least one year of experience in agile development using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Helix, and Aha!
- Ability to collaborate effectively across functions, including with Human Factors and other clinical partners
- Demonstrated experience designing mobile applications for consumer or medical devices
- Working knowledge of user research tools and methodologies
- Prototyping experience is preferred
- Availability for ongoing U.S. travel as needed, at least quarterly
