Staff Platform Engineer - Singapore (Hybrid)

Lead the platform engineering function at Pave Bank, shaping programmable business banking infrastructure. Build reliable systems across GCP, Go, Kubernetes, and PostgreSQL.

Descriere

  • Set the technical direction for Pave Bank’s platform infrastructure and its ongoing evolution
  • Build, maintain, and improve dependable platform services on GCP
  • Contribute directly to production software development, with a focus on Go
  • Create OAuth 2.0 authentication systems, including Go-based flows and integrations
  • Use Temporal to design and manage workflow orchestration
  • Deploy and operate production workloads on Kubernetes
  • Design and administer cloud networking across VPC, Cloud IPsec, and KMS
  • Design and run production database systems with Cloud SQL and PostgreSQL
  • Lead improvements to platform CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code practices
  • Implement observability, monitoring, and alerting across platform services
  • Provide technical leadership on complex platform and infrastructure challenges
  • Own production issues and join the on-call rotation
  • Partner with engineering teams to deliver platform capabilities that meet their technical needs
  • Make pragmatic architectural choices and carry projects from design through operation
  • Help define engineering standards, practices, and technical foundations as the team expands
  • Coach and support platform and infrastructure engineers

Cerințe

  • Substantial hands-on experience in platform, infrastructure, or backend engineering
  • Strong Go expertise and the ability to develop production services
  • Practical experience working with Temporal
  • Deep knowledge of OAuth 2.0 and implementing authentication flows in Go
  • Extensive hands-on experience running Kubernetes workloads in production
  • Strong experience with GCP and cloud infrastructure
  • Experience designing cloud networks with VPC, Cloud IPsec, and KMS
  • Strong experience with Cloud SQL and PostgreSQL
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code and continuous delivery pipelines
  • Experience establishing observability, monitoring, and alerting for production systems
  • Strong background operating and troubleshooting production environments
  • Experience serving as a technical lead or engineering leader
  • Willingness to stay hands-on rather than focus solely on people management
  • Clear ownership of production systems and technical results
  • Willingness to participate in on-call coverage and respond to incidents
  • Ability to make and clearly explain sound technical and architectural decisions
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and solving problems directly when needed
  • Ability to mentor engineers and strengthen engineering practices as the team grows
  • Experience in fintech, banking, payments, or related financial technology is desirable
  • Experience with systems where security, reliability, and availability are essential is desirable
  • Experience in a highly regulated or security-focused environment is desirable
