Staff Accountant - Naples, FL (Hybrid)

Staff Accountant responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations, and GAAP-compliant reporting at FYIsoft, Inc. The role also supports FP&A, ERP optimization, and accounting automation.

Descriere

  • Support the Accounting Manager with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
  • Oversee daily accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, and cash application
  • Handle accounts payable workflows, including invoice processing, approvals, and payment runs
  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and related schedules
  • Deliver accurate, timely, and GAAP-compliant financial reporting
  • Work with FP&A and leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Maintain and improve ERP and FP&A systems used in accounting workflows
  • Find ways to automate and streamline AR/AP and reporting activities
  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing organized records and clear process documentation
  • Explain financial results and issues to finance and non-finance stakeholders
  • Serve as a key internal user and advocate for FP&A and ERP systems

Cerințe

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required
  • Three to five years of professional accounting experience
  • Hands-on experience managing accounts receivable and accounts payable functions
  • Strong financial reporting experience, including month-end and period-end close processes
  • Practical experience with FP&A applications and ERP systems
  • Comfort adopting AI-powered and automated accounting tools
  • Strong analytical ability to interpret financial data and identify trends or discrepancies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail and strong organizational ability
  • Experience in a SaaS, software, or technology company is preferred
  • Experience with NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Sage Intacct, Acumatica, or QuickBooks is preferred
  • Previous people-management or team-lead experience is preferred
  • Ability to work on-site in Naples on required in-office days
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
