Descriere

  • Develop and tailor Shopify theme sections, templates, and Liquid features.
  • Manage development tickets covering configuration, content updates, defect fixes, and new capabilities.
  • Create flexible storefront sections supported by clear, well-organized theme settings.
  • Produce maintainable, component-based JavaScript with a consistent structure.
  • Deploy, configure, and diagnose Shopify applications.
  • Use Git-based pull request workflows and participate in code reviews.
  • Validate theme releases and features across browsers and devices, including mobile experiences, checkout, and conversion journeys.
  • Keep test plans, checklists, and regression coverage up to date.
  • Evaluate storefront accessibility against WCAG requirements.
  • Document reproducible defects and confirm that fixes resolve them.
  • Spot repetitive manual tests and support practical AI-assisted automation.
  • Address Shopify storefront and admin support requests or route them to the appropriate team.
  • Trace problems across themes, applications, and third-party integrations.
  • Keep stakeholders informed about issue progress and expected resolution dates.

Cerințe

  • 1–3 years of practical Shopify development experience with an agency or Shopify-based brand.
  • A portfolio demonstrating Shopify projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Shopify themes, including sections, templates, theme settings, and the Shopify admin.
  • Working proficiency in HTML, CSS, Liquid, and JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with lightweight front-end frameworks such as Stimulus or Alpine.js.
  • Understanding of responsive, mobile-first implementation.
  • Experience creating test cases, performing regression checks, and reporting defects clearly.
  • Working knowledge of accessibility practices and WCAG 2.1 AA.
  • Ability to diagnose technical problems and explain them clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Comfort working with Git and pull requests.
  • Experience applying AI tools to development or testing processes.
  • A structured coding approach using organized files and reusable components.
  • Strong problem-solving ability, careful attention to detail, and ownership of deliverables.
  • Shopify Plus, CI/CD, test automation, visual regression testing, front-end build tooling, Shopify CLI, or Shopify Admin API experience is desirable.
