Descriere

  • Design, develop, and maintain database systems
  • Build SSIS solutions for ETL, data transmission, encryption, and file archiving
  • Optimize SQL databases and improve query performance
  • Create and maintain database tables, stored procedures, and related objects
  • Develop and support operational reports for internal teams and clients
  • Partner with the data team on operational support and recurring issue resolution
  • Document database topology, architecture, processes, and procedures
  • Write SQL queries and handle ad hoc data requests
  • Support capacity planning and resource expansion through data aggregation and analysis
  • Work with project managers to align reports and metrics with business needs and process-improvement opportunities
  • Identify database-platform inefficiencies and recommend solutions to management
  • Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to technical and business challenges
  • Determine root causes and recommend measures to prevent recurring issues
  • Handle and disclose patients’ protected health information in accordance with HIPAA standards
  • Restrict access to PHI to the minimum necessary for assigned responsibilities

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • At least five years of experience as a database engineer or in a related position
  • At least three years of extensive experience with SSRS, SSIS, and T-SQL
  • At least two years of experience with C# and/or VB.NET
  • Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices
  • Ability to write and troubleshoot SQL code and design stored procedures, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, and constraints
  • Extensive experience with MS SQL Server 2012 or later, particularly query performance
  • Knowledge of database troubleshooting and best practices for database operations
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to manage multiple complex and demanding projects
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all organizational levels
  • Strong problem-solving and creative-thinking abilities, with sound judgment based on accurate and timely analysis
  • High integrity, dependability, urgency, and focus on results
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to follow HIPAA and information-security policies and procedures
  • Ability to protect and handle patients’ protected health information in accordance with HIPAA standards
