Descriere

  • Manage compute, storage, and network resource pools to meet service-level commitments for multi-tenant workloads.
  • Plan capacity, analyze performance, and manage infrastructure lifecycles, including patching, upgrades, and firmware.
  • Automate provisioning, configuration, and service impact mitigation with industry-standard tools.
  • Respond to service disruptions during business hours and through a shared on-call rotation.
  • Lead incident response and implement measures to prevent future impacts.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, technical standards, and operational runbooks.
  • Train and support operations teams as a subject matter expert and escalation resource.
  • Serve as the senior Level 3 incident escalation point and coordinate incident management across domains.
  • Design and run disaster recovery tests.
  • Work directly with customers to support their use cases and improve reliability and performance.
  • Travel to data centers for cluster commissioning, acceptance, and complex troubleshooting as needed.
  • Support critical incidents outside regular business hours.

Cerințe

  • College diploma or university degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least five years operating compute, networking, and storage infrastructure at scale in 24/7 environments.
  • At least five years of hands-on experience with production compute technologies.
  • Experience supporting OpenStack or a comparable open cloud platform, or strong adjacent experience with modern private cloud stacks.
  • Solid understanding of VLANs, VXLAN, OSPF, BGP, NSX or similar SDN technologies, routing, switching, and load balancing.
  • Hands-on experience using scripting or programming languages for automation.
  • Familiarity with basic database concepts.
  • Experience with automation and infrastructure-as-code tools is an asset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete work in a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with minimal supervision.
  • A continuous improvement mindset and a proactive approach to automating operational toil.
