Descriere

  • Lead the company’s global IT procurement category.
  • Manage contracting and renewals for IT agreements valued above $100 million.
  • Work with IT and business owners to review licensing needs, consolidate applications, and reduce costs.
  • Negotiate agreements and ensure they are benchmarked thoroughly.
  • Partner with legal, IT, and business stakeholders to follow contracting guidelines and manage business risks.
  • Oversee governance for the IT steering committee process.
  • Present final negotiated agreements to executive leadership for approval.
  • Identify redundant applications, streamline software portfolios, and drive process changes that reduce license counts and total cost of ownership.
  • Plan renewals proactively and use renewal timelines to strengthen negotiating leverage.

Cerințe

  • 10–15 years of experience in procurement or purchasing.
  • At least 10 years of experience supporting IT and technology categories.
  • Experience supporting procurement categories globally.
  • Experience managing procurement for fleet or a closely related commodity.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with SAP or a comparable ERP system.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with eSourcing and procure-to-pay tools.
  • Demonstrated leadership of IT procurement initiatives focused on software and SaaS, including application rationalization and license optimization.
  • Ability to partner effectively with business stakeholders and IT, finance, and legal teams.
  • Experience creating proactive renewal strategies, including early stakeholder engagement and risk mitigation planning.
  • Track record negotiating complex software agreements and securing favorable terms.
  • Strong understanding of software licensing models, contract structures, and benchmarking practices.
  • Experience in a consulting environment is highly desirable.
