  • Build and enhance Starbucks’ iOS application
  • Advocate for accessible product experiences
  • Contribute to architecture improvements and peer code reviews
  • Refactor existing code to improve maintainability and testability
  • Create unit and automated UI tests to strengthen application quality
  • Advance the team’s testing practices and engineering principles
  • Contribute to team vision and strategic planning
  • Evaluate the feasibility of proposed projects and features
  • Implement new functionality and critical bug fixes
  • Test and deploy features for public release
  • Collaborate with engineers across the team
  • Strengthen team processes and improve the native digital platform

Cerințe

  • Extensive professional experience engineering for the iOS platform
  • At least four years developing consumer-facing iOS applications
  • At least five years of software development experience
  • Proficiency integrating REST APIs, GraphQL, push notifications, and multithreaded applications
  • Strong attention to engineering fundamentals, testing methods, and software quality
  • Advanced knowledge of mobile architecture patterns such as VIPER, MVVM, or MVP
  • Experience with reactive programming techniques
  • Strong Swift development experience
  • Some experience with Objective-C
  • Experience creating integration and unit tests
  • Strong Git proficiency
  • Familiarity with Apple accessibility tools such as VoiceOver and Switch Control is a plus
  • Experience with Core Location services is a plus
  • Experience with Apple Pay services is a plus
  • Experience using Xcode profiling tools is a plus
  • Experience with The Composable Architecture (TCA) from Point-Free is a plus
  • Experience with GitHub Copilot and incorporating agents into development workflows is a plus
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards, including WCAG and Section 508
  • Knowledge of international laws is a plus
  • Must work onsite four days per week
