Descriere

  • Create and support modern web applications with JavaScript, React, and Next.js
  • Develop responsive, accessible interfaces with HTML and CSS
  • Help enhance a global weather website serving millions of users
  • Connect frontend applications to APIs and backend services
  • Diagnose and fix defects, performance bottlenecks, and production issues
  • Produce clean, reusable, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code
  • Take part in code reviews and help uphold engineering standards and practices
  • Partner with QA on testing, releases, and production deployments
  • Strengthen application performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability
  • Work with engineering and product colleagues across locations and time zones

Cerințe

  • Substantial experience with JavaScript and contemporary frontend development
  • Working proficiency with React
  • Familiarity with Next.js, including client-side and server-side rendering
  • Strong command of CSS, responsive design, and modern layout techniques
  • Experience connecting applications to REST APIs or comparable backend services
  • Experience using Git-based workflows and pull requests
  • Strong debugging abilities and structured problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of browser behavior, web performance, and cross-browser compatibility
  • Ability to independently deliver moderately complex features within a collaborative engineering team
  • TypeScript experience is desirable
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and AWS or other cloud services is desirable
  • Experience supporting high-traffic, consumer-facing applications is desirable
  • Familiarity with web monitoring, analytics, and performance optimization is desirable
  • Understanding of accessibility and SEO best practices is desirable
