- Draft, review, and negotiate customer, vendor, partner, licensing, SaaS, NDA, and other commercial agreements.
- Work with business teams to standardize contract templates, forms, and playbooks and improve deal execution.
- Help manage and implement Elite’s compliance program, policies, and procedures.
- Advise commercial and product teams on regulatory and compliance matters.
- Provide guidance on privacy, data security, applicable laws, regulations, rules, and industry standards.
- Assess legal and risk considerations related to AI development and use, including emerging AI laws and regulations.
- Help develop internal policies governing AI use.
- Evaluate and promote AI and legal technology tools, including contract lifecycle management and AI-assisted drafting and review.
- Support corporate legal matters, including governance and intellectual property.
- Handle additional responsibilities that support department and company objectives.
- Report to the General Counsel.
Cerințe
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing.
- Five to seven years of relevant legal practice experience, including substantial commercial contract, compliance, and privacy work in-house and at a law firm.
- Prior in-house experience in the SaaS or technology sector, including at least three to four years in-house.
- Genuine interest in artificial intelligence and willingness to experiment with generative AI tools.
- Ability to quickly learn and adopt new technology and legal technology platforms, with a focus on automation and process improvement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
- Sound judgment and a practical, business-oriented approach to legal risk.
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, changing environment and adapt to shifting business priorities.
- Ability to travel up to 10% based on business needs.
