Senior Compliance Officer

Descriere

  • Build and oversee monitoring programs for regulatory and industry standards.
  • Assess compliance risks and run monitoring controls.
  • Advise colleagues on compliance questions.
  • Take part in and lead New Product Approval Process (NPAP) assessments.
  • Create and deliver compliance awareness training.
  • Run Juni’s governance framework.
  • Draft and review policies to ensure regulatory alignment.
  • Manage the regulatory reporting framework.
  • Support the MLRO by maintaining methods for assessing financial crime and restrictive measures risks.
  • Prepare and submit compliance and regulatory reports to authorities, senior management and the Board.
  • Act as secretary and contact for the Governance, Risk & Compliance Committee.
  • Help the first line of defense address and follow up on identified gaps.
  • Coordinate between internal audit and the wider business.
  • Oversee daily DPO responsibilities and GDPR and data privacy compliance.
  • Monitor Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) processes.
  • Oversee data subject requests.
  • Maintain the Record of Processing Activities (ROPA) and continually map organizational data flows.

Cerințe

  • Law degree.
  • At least 3 years of second-line-of-defense experience in the financial sector.
  • At least 5 years of AML/CTF first-line-of-defense experience in the financial sector.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Practical experience with payment and banking regulations.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English.
  • DPO-related experience, including DPIAs, data subject requests, ROPA and advising on GDPR, is preferred.
  • A valid Swedish work permit is required; visa sponsorship is unavailable.
