Descriere

  • Lead planning, design, permitting, and implementation for complex civil engineering projects in the renewable energy and power sectors
  • Develop site civil designs covering earthwork, grading, access roads, erosion and sediment control, and stormwater management
  • Prepare land disturbance, construction stormwater, land use, and related permit applications
  • Assess field data and complete engineering calculations
  • Produce engineering reports, cost estimates, schedules, and progress tracking reports
  • Perform field investigations, construction oversight, and quality assurance activities
  • Support field exploration to establish design parameters and verify construction quality
  • Develop technical proposals and contribute to business development efforts
  • Create facility strategies and designs, along with project scopes, schedules, and budgets
  • Advise on technical engineering and regulatory matters
  • Contribute to project teams operating in global engineering environments
  • Partner with scientists and engineers across investigation, risk management, planning, design, and construction disciplines
  • Contribute to a center-of-excellence engineering team and oversee implementation
  • Support multidisciplinary project delivery and project controls activities
  • Develop professional relationships with engineering and environmental specialists across North America and global markets

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering preferred, focused on site civil, geotechnical, and environmental applications, or equivalent experience
  • Professional Engineer license in place or eligibility to obtain one
  • At least one year of technical experience in site civil design
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D, plus experience using ArcGIS
  • Advanced understanding of local regulations and the ability to negotiate with state and local regulators
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to research, prepare, and review clear, accurate technical documentation
  • Strong written and verbal communication, strategic thinking, and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to support business development, including client relationship management and repeat-business opportunities
  • Established technical expertise and a strong professional reputation in the local market
  • Team-building and influencing abilities demonstrated with integrity and professionalism
  • Positive, collaborative approach and commitment to ERM
  • Ability and willingness to travel

  • Preferred: experience supporting renewable energy and power-sector projects
  • Preferred: experience managing multidisciplinary teams and substantial consulting and construction projects
  • Preferred: experience with project controls, labor forecasting, scheduling, and cost estimating
  • Preferred: combined office and field experience supporting engineering design and construction activities
