Descriere

  • Establish repository, service, facade, DTO, and bridge contracts connecting Kotlin, platform-specific implementations, and the VueJS/TypeScript interface
  • Create, deliver, and support shared Kotlin Multiplatform modules for POS capabilities across Android and JVM/Desktop
  • Develop desktop and Android platform implementations with expect/actual patterns
  • Deliver offline-capable workflows with local storage, caching, synchronization readiness, and deliberate failure handling
  • Produce maintainable, clearly structured code while refactoring and strengthening existing modules
  • Develop automated coverage for domain rules, use cases, repositories, bridge contracts, and coroutine-driven workflows
  • Partner with frontend engineers, QA specialists, product owners, and architects
  • Document expertise, exchange knowledge, and support the growth of junior Kotlin developers
  • Follow agreed team practices and operating processes
  • Report progress consistently, including trade-offs and key technical decisions

Cerințe

  • At least 8 years of Kotlin experience
  • Experience making architecture decisions with Kotlin Multiplatform at platform scale
  • Advanced system-level Android development experience
  • Delivered Kotlin Multiplatform solutions across at least two targets, ideally Android and JVM/Desktop
  • Knowledge of KMP interoperability with Swift/iOS, including XCFrameworks, expect/actual implementations, and Flow bridging
  • Experience migrating Java systems to Kotlin and KMP at platform scale
  • Ability to provide architectural direction and long-term vision
  • Experience architecting modular platforms serving multiple tenants or customers
  • Background in knowledge sharing and developer mentoring
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders
  • Strong grounding in Clean Architecture, dependency inversion, and repository abstractions
  • Practical knowledge of Kotlin Coroutines and Flow
  • Experience building offline-first or local-first clients with persistence, caching, synchronization, and conflict management
  • Familiarity with dependency injection approaches, preferably Koin
  • Disciplined approach to unit and integration testing, test doubles, and coroutine testing utilities
  • Experience consuming REST/OpenAPI-style services, mapping typed DTOs, handling serialization, and building resilient client communication
  • Comfort with Gradle Kotlin DSL, modular builds, and CI-compatible project structures
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with frontend, QA, and product teams
  • Compose Multiplatform experience is an advantage
  • POS or retail embedded-systems experience is an advantage
  • Desktop JVM client experience is an advantage
  • Understanding of VueJS 3 and TypeScript is an advantage
  • Experience with plugin or extensibility architectures is an advantage
  • Performance engineering experience is an advantage
  • Experience with POS, retail, payment, promotion, or hardware-peripheral integrations is an advantage
