Senior Accountant

Descriere

  • Coordinate monthly close, revenue recognition, and financial reporting.
  • Record payroll and benefits entries and accruals.
  • Oversee construction in progress and fixed assets across all brands.
  • Prepare journal entries for intercompany activity and departmental allocations.
  • Review and reconcile complex balance sheet and income statement accounts.
  • Maintain the general ledger and deliver accurate trial balances on schedule.
  • Analyze actual results against budget and explain variances.
  • Complete account reconciliations and assist with month-end reporting.
  • Support financial and tax audits.
  • Help improve processes, policies, and internal controls.
  • Handle additional tasks and projects for the Accounting Manager.

Cerințe

  • Bring at least three years of public or private accounting experience.
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  • Use Excel at an advanced level.
  • Have experience with month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Understand financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and related footnotes.
  • Know general ledger functions and close procedures.
  • Apply accounting principles and procedures with confidence.
  • A CPA license is preferred.
  • NetSuite experience is preferred.
  • Workday or payroll accounting experience is preferred.
  • Understanding of accounting across multiple brands and related allocations is preferred.
  • Stay organized and attentive to detail.
  • Manage multiple deadlines effectively.
  • Work independently and collaborate across teams.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
